Festes d’Estiu de Valldemossa 2026
Summer in Valldemossa is a celebration of tradition, community and Mallorcan culture. From 17 July to 24 August, the village hosts three distinct festivals that honour its patron saints and maritime heritage, transforming its picturesque streets, squares and coastline into the setting for weeks of music, celebrations and centuries-old traditions.
The programme begins with the Festes de La Beata (17–28 July), dedicated to Santa Catalina Tomàs, Mallorca’s only native saint and home to the spectacular Carro Triomfal. The celebrations continue with the seaside Festes de Sa Marina (11–16 August) before concluding with the Festes de Sant Bartomeu (19–24 August), celebrating Valldemossa’s patron saint.

Festes de Sant Bartomeu 2026 – Valldemossa
The Festes de Sant Bartomeu conclude Valldemossa’s summer celebrations from 19–24 August, honouring the village’s patron saint with a programme centred around community, culture and local traditions. Smaller and more intimate than La Beata, these festivities offer the perfect opportunity to experience everyday village life in one of Mallorca’s most beautiful mountain towns.
The celebrations begin with the traditional Festa de la Gent Gran, before continuing with the MAAD Artisan, Art & Design Market, showcasing local makers, designers and craftspeople in the heart of the village. Traditional Ball Mallorquí performances, live concerts and the lively Revetla de Sant Bartomeu fill the streets with music and celebration throughout the week.
Families can enjoy circus workshops, children’s activities and the popular comedy evening, while locals gather for the traditional Trivial Popular & Sopar a la Fresca, bringing the community together for an evening of food, fun and friendly competition in Plaça de Cartoixa.
The festivities culminate on 24 August, the feast day of Sant Bartomeu, with a solemn mass in honour of the patron saint before the village comes together for one final summer celebration. Closing Valldemossa’s festive season, the Festes de Sant Bartomeu perfectly reflect the warm, welcoming community spirit that defines the village.
