Festes d’Estiu de Valldemossa 2026
Summer in Valldemossa is a celebration of tradition, community and Mallorcan culture. From 17 July to 24 August, the village hosts three distinct festivals that honour its patron saints and maritime heritage, transforming its picturesque streets, squares and coastline into the setting for weeks of music, celebrations and centuries-old traditions.
The programme begins with the Festes de La Beata (17–28 July), dedicated to Santa Catalina Tomàs, Mallorca’s only native saint and home to the spectacular Carro Triomfal. The celebrations continue with the seaside Festes de Sa Marina (11–16 August) before concluding with the Festes de Sant Bartomeu (19–24 August), celebrating Valldemossa’s patron saint.

Festes de Sa Marina 2026 – Port de Valldemossa
Following the celebrations in the village, the Festes de Sa Marina bring the summer festivities to the beautiful Port de Valldemossa from 11–16 August. Celebrating the Mare de Déu d’Agost, these seaside festivities combine maritime traditions, sporting events, local gastronomy and relaxed summer evenings overlooking the Mediterranean.
Set against one of Mallorca’s most picturesque coastal landscapes, the programme offers something for every age. Throughout the week, visitors can enjoy athletic races between Valldemossa and the port, cycling competitions, paddle surf races, fishing contests for adults and children, live sunset music sessions and plenty of family-friendly activities.
Food plays a central role in the celebrations, with the popular Sardinada Popular accompanied by traditional havaneres music, as well as the much-loved Fish Rice Competition, where participants prepare their own seafood rice dishes before an evening of music and celebration by the sea.
The festivities also include a solemn Mass in honour of the Mare de Déu d’Agost, children’s traditional games, an outdoor cinema screening and relaxed sunset gatherings that perfectly capture the atmosphere of a Mediterranean summer. Whether you’re joining the sporting events, enjoying fresh seafood by the harbour or simply watching the sun set over the coastline, the Festes de Sa Marina celebrate everything that makes Mallorca’s coastal lifestyle so special.
