Festes de la Mare de Déu del Carme 2026 – Cala Figuera

One of Mallorca’s most picturesque fishing villages celebrates its patron saint with over a week of concerts, seaside traditions, community dinners, live music and family-friendly festivities.

From 4–16 July 2026, Cala Figuera hosts the Festes de la Mare de Déu del Carme, bringing locals and visitors together for a vibrant programme overlooking the harbour. Highlights include open-air concerts, beer and wine tastings, traditional dances, children’s activities, cinema under the stars, lively verbenas, a spectacular performance by Tomeu Penya, and the much-loved Maritime Procession honouring the patron saint of fishermen.

Festival Highlights

4 July
The celebrations begin with Música Arran de Mar, an extraordinary open-air concert as part of the XIV Festival Internacional de Música Vila de Santanyí, featuring the Cor de la Generalitat Valenciana, soprano Ofelia Sala and pianist Bartomeu Jaume performing opera, zarzuela and classical favourites by the sea. (Free with reservation.)

5 July
Enjoy an evening concert by the Banda Municipal de Música de Santanyí on the harbour esplanade.

8 July
Sample local craft beers and Son Alegre wines, accompanied by live performances from The Family Band and Aina and the Pure Souls, with food available throughout the evening.

9 July
Join the traditional Sopar a la Fresca, featuring pork loin with tumbet, followed by live entertainment from Els Autèntics Valencians.

10 July
The Verbena Jove takes over the harbour with live music by Mystart followed by DJs TEREG and Paller.

11 July
The day begins with a marine and coastal clean-up, organised by Ocean Charter Mallorca together with volunteers. In the evening, enjoy a lively Verbena with Orquestra Aquarius, Valnou, followed by the late-night Cala Figuera Olé party featuring DJs Agus, Polichy and Mateu des Taller.

12 July
Family day includes the traditional Rompuda d’Olles, children’s entertainment with games and workshops, and an evening of traditional Mallorcan dancing with Xicalènia and Da-li Cebes.

13 July
Enjoy an outdoor screening of the musical favourite Mamma Mia! under the stars.

14 July
A magical open-air recital for flute and piano by Catalina Roig and Rafael González, inspired by the sea and performed at the scenic Mirador overlooking the coastline.

15 July
One of the biggest nights of the festival features a Grand Revetla with Eva, followed by Tomeu Penya celebrating his Aprop Teu anniversary tour together with Géminis.

16 July – Mare de Déu del Carme
The festival culminates with the Solemn Mass, followed by the traditional Procession to the Harbour and the iconic Maritime Procession through Cala Figuera. In the evening, enjoy La Movida – The Musical, prize-giving for the best decorated boats, and a colourful closing celebration.
