Festes de la Mare de Déu del Carme 2026 – Sa Ràpita
One of Mallorca’s most charming coastal celebrations returns as Sa Ràpita honours the Mare de Déu del Carme, patron saint of fishermen, with six days of family-friendly festivities, live music, local traditions and seaside celebrations.
From 14–19 July 2026, Sa Ràpita comes alive with concerts, children’s activities, exhibitions, sporting tournaments, community dinners, traditional dances and lively evening parties, culminating in the beloved Processó Marinera on the feast day of 19 July. Set against the backdrop of one of Mallorca’s most beautiful coastal villages, the festival combines maritime heritage with a warm community atmosphere.
Festival Highlights
14 July
The celebrations begin with the popular Nit de Bingo, where everyone is invited to dress in white, blue or nautical stripes for a fun summer evening.
15 July
Enjoy a Children’s Water Party, followed by an open-air concert by the Coral and Rondalla of the Association of Senior Citizens in front of Santa Coloma Church.
16 July
Celebrate the patron saint with a summer concert by the Banda de Música de Campos, performing outdoors under the stars.
17 July
One of the busiest days of the festival featuring:
- Football tournament
- Mediterranean art exhibition Llum Mediterrània
- Traditional Imaginari Campaner parade with giants, the Ball dels Óssos and Batukada Els Macolins
- Community Pa amb Oli dinner
- Traditional folk dancing with Brot de Taperera
- Evening Verbena with live music and DJs.
18 July
Family fun continues with a Children’s Festival, an impressive Equestrian Show, line dancing, the popular White Party (Verbena de Blanc) featuring live music and DJs, and a spectacular midnight fireworks display over Sa Ràpita.
19 July – Mare de Déu del Carme
The celebrations conclude with the Festival of King Neptune, a chess tournament, the Solemn Mass and the traditional Maritime Procession, as decorated boats accompany the Virgin along the coast. Boat prizes are awarded after the procession before the festival comes to a close with the comedy performance Memòries d’un Citroën Embruixat.
