The Mini Island Mallorca Guide

The Mini Island Mallorca Guide: Our Mallorca, Curated

If you’ve ever asked us, “Where should we go for brunch?”, “What’s your favourite cocktail bar?” or “Where would you take friends visiting Mallorca for the first time?” – you’re not alone.

Those are easily some of the questions we receive most often at The Calendar Mallorca.

And while our website helps you discover what’s happening around the island every day, we wanted to create something a little different. Something timeless. Something you could save, revisit and take with you wherever your Mallorca adventures lead.

That’s how the Mini Island Mallorca Guide was born.

Created in collaboration with WKDY Studio, this beautifully designed digital guide brings together some of our favourite places across the island – from cafés and brunch spots to restaurants, beach hangouts, cocktail bars and local gems that we genuinely return to ourselves.

A Mallorca Beyond the Obvious

There are plenty of Mallorca guides online.

Most of them recommend the same places.

The Mini Island Mallorca Guide was created to do the opposite.

This is not a collection of tourist traps, paid placements or generic “Top 10” lists. Every recommendation has been carefully selected because we genuinely love it, visit it or recommend it regularly to friends and family.

Inside, you’ll discover a curated mix of well-loved classics and places that many visitors — and even some residents — might otherwise miss.

Five Places We Keep Coming Back To

The guide explores some of Mallorca’s most beloved corners, including:

📍 Palma
📍 Valldemossa
📍 Port de Sóller
📍 Fornalutx
📍 Cala Ratjada

From lazy breakfasts and long lunches to hidden corners, sunset drinks and local favourites, each destination is approached through the lens of how we actually experience the island ourselves.

Because Mallorca isn’t just about seeing places.

It’s about knowing how to enjoy them.

A Collaboration Rooted in Local Knowledge

The project combines two different perspectives that complement each other perfectly.

At The Calendar Mallorca, we’re constantly discovering new openings, local favourites, cultural events and places that make island life special.

At WKDY Studio, beautiful storytelling, thoughtful design and a deep appreciation for slow travel are at the heart of everything they create.

Together, we wanted to create a guide that feels useful, inspiring and easy to use — whether you’re visiting Mallorca for the first time or have lived here for years.

Designed to Be Used

The Mini Island Mallorca Guide features 50 beautifully designed pages packed with recommendations, inspiration and practical information.

It’s designed for:

✨ Visitors looking for a more authentic Mallorca experience
✨ New residents wanting to discover local favourites
✨ Long-time island lovers searching for fresh inspiration
✨ Anyone who prefers quality over quantity

Think of it as having a local friend sharing their favourite addresses.

Explore Mallorca, One Recommendation at a Time

Mallorca has a way of revealing itself slowly.

The more time you spend here, the more you realise that the best moments are often the simplest ones: a coffee in the right square, a long lunch that turns into sunset drinks, a hidden sushi place discovered by chance, or a restaurant you return to again and again.

We created this guide to help you find more of those moments.

The Mini Island Mallorca Guide is now available for download for €9.95 – less than two cocktails!

We hope it inspires your next day out, weekend adventure or Mallorca memory.

See you around the island.
