Looking for one of Mallorca’s best family days out this summer? Palma Aquarium has added even more reasons to visit with the launch of its brand-new Splash Pad – a colourful interactive water play area where children can cool off beneath fountains, water jets and playful marine-themed features after exploring the aquarium.
Alongside the new splash zone, visitors can discover more than 8,000 marine animals from over 700 species, from sharks and rays to turtles, jellyfish and colourful tropical fish, while enjoying a packed programme of interactive activities designed for curious minds of all ages.
🌊 Summer Programme
Throughout the day, families can take part in hands-on Experience Labs, where Ocean Experts explain the fascinating world of Posidonia, coral reefs and sharks through engaging sensory activities.
Daily Ocean Expert Talks invite children to play, ask questions and uncover the mysteries of the ocean, while scheduled feeding sessions offer the chance to watch turtles, small sharks, corals, rays and octopuses during their mealtimes.
One of the day’s highlights is the Shark Diver Interaction, where visitors can meet the aquarium’s professional divers, learn how they care for the sharks and ask questions about one of the ocean’s most misunderstood animals.
