🎞️ III Mostra de Cinema Documental de s’Arracó
Two summer nights of documentary cinema, conversation and stories under the stars return to s’Arracó for the third edition of the village’s documentary film festival.
Taking place as part of the Festes de s’Arracó, this year’s programme explores the boundaries that both separate and connect us: places and belonging, houses and memories, migration, archives and the traces left behind as landscapes and communities change.
Through documentaries, historic material and local stories, the festival looks at everything from Mallorcans who emigrated to Algeria and communities fighting to preserve their way of life, to childhood drawings, forgotten archives and memories held within homes and everyday objects.
Both evenings include several screenings alongside open conversations with filmmakers and participants, creating a wonderfully intimate celebration of documentary cinema in a small Tramuntana village.
