🎉 Festes de Sant Agustí 2026 · Felanitx
One of Felanitx’s biggest celebrations of the year is back! The Festes de Sant Agustí fill the town with local traditions, music, art, sport and plenty of late summer bauxa.
The programme brings together some of the most anticipated dates in the local calendar – from Nitx de l’Art and the traditional festivities surrounding Sant Agustí to concerts, street parties, sport, dancing and activities for all ages.
Here are some of the highlights:
FRIDAY, AUGUST 21
🎨 19:30 · XII Certamen d’Arts Plàstiques Ciutat de Felanitx
Awards ceremony followed by the opening of the exhibitions featuring this year’s 12 finalists and work by 2025 winner Xesca Martorell Beltran.
📣 20:30 · Crida de les Festes de Sant Agustí
From the balcony of Can Llevadora, with this year’s proclamation by journalist Gori Vicens Julià and the singing of the Felanitx anthem.
🎨 Nitx de l’Art 2026
One of the big cultural moments of the festivities, with exhibitions and activities taking over different spaces around Felanitx from August 21–23.
🎶 23:30 · Verbena
A big night at Parc Municipal de Sa Torre with Mantra, Avalanx, Cirko and DJ Biini. Free entry.
SATURDAY, AUGUST 22
⛳ 09:00 · Trofeo Ayuntamiento de Felanitx at Vall d’Or Golf
💃 19:00–00:00 · Festa de Ball Lineal at Plaça d’Espanya, beginning with line dancing before opening up the dance floor for everyone.
And the celebrations continue through the end of August, with plenty more traditional and sporting events across Felanitx. One of the final big dates is the Cursa Nocturna de Sant Agustí on August 30, turning the streets into a night-time mix of running, walking, live music and celebration. On August 31, the festivities close with a night of comedy featuring Agustín El Casta, followed by fireworks.
📅 August 2026
📍 Felanitx, Mallorca
🎟️ Many activities are free; some events require advance registration or wristbands.
A proper Mallorcan festa de poble – come for the traditions, stay for the art, music and atmosphere that take over Felanitx for Sant Agustí.
More details on the program – especially the Nit de l’Art and the verbenes from 21-31 august and any other program highlights
Yes — I’d make the listing much more detailed. The 21–31 August stretch is really the heart of Sant Agustí, and there are several genuinely big nights this year, especially the three consecutive verbenes on 21–23 August, Sant Agustí itself on the 28th, and the nocturnal race on the 30th.
🎉 Festes de Sant Agustí 2026 · Felanitx
Felanitx doesn’t exactly ease out of summer quietly. The Festes de Sant Agustí return for one of the town’s biggest celebrations of the year, bringing together more than a century of local tradition with art, live music, verbenes, sport, dancing, giants, cavallets and plenty of festa.
From 21–31 August, Felanitx becomes the place to be — and this year’s programme includes some particularly big nights.
🎨 FRIDAY, AUGUST 21 · NITX DE L’ART + OPENING VERBENA
The festivities officially kick off with art and culture taking over Felanitx.
19:30 · XII Certamen d’Arts Plàstiques Ciutat de Felanitx
📍 Plaça de sa Font de Santa Margalida
Presentation of the 2026 art prize, followed by the opening of exhibitions featuring the 12 finalists at Sala Catalina Picó Pou and an exhibition by 2025 winner Xesca Martorell Beltran at Sala Miquel Barceló. The exhibitions remain open until October 3.
20:30 · Crida de les Festes de Sant Agustí
📍 Balcony of Can Llevadora
The official opening proclamation by journalist Gori Vicens Julià, accompanied by the Coral de Felanitx, Units com Brins and Cor del Conservatori singing the Hymn of Felanitx.
🎨 NITX DE L’ART 2026 · August 21–23
For three days, art moves out into the streets and different spaces around the town, with exhibitions and cultural activities forming one of the major opening events of Sant Agustí. There is a separate dedicated programme for Nitx de l’Art, so it’s worth allowing time to wander rather than heading straight to the party.
And then… Felanitx switches from art to verbena.
23:30 · OPENING VERBENA
📍 Parc Municipal de Sa Torre
🎶 Mantra · Avalanx · Cirko · DJ Biini
🚪 Doors 21:00
🎟 Free entry
🎸 SATURDAY, AUGUST 22 · M-CLAN + CELTAS CORTOS
During the day there’s the Felanitx Golf Trophy at Vall d’Or Golf, line dancing and an open dance party in Plaça d’Espanya, plus the XXII Pujada Automobilística Sant Salvador, with the famous climb up Puig de Sant Salvador.
But the big event comes at night:
VERBENA · 21:00
📍 Parc Municipal de Sa Torre
🎸 M-Clan – 30th Anniversary Tour
🎻 Celtas Cortos – 40 Años Contando Cuentos Tour
- UR Bad · Mystart · DJ Titi
The programme highlights this as the only Mallorca performance for both M-Clan and Celtas Cortos on these tours.
🎟 This verbena is ticketed.
The park is open free from 17:00–19:30 before being cleared and reopening at 20:00 for ticket holders.
🎶 SUNDAY, AUGUST 23 · LAX’N’BUSTO RETURNS TO SA TORRE
⚽ 18:00 · Trofeu Ciutat de Felanitx
📍 Camp de Futbol Es Torrentó Mariona Caldentey
Then another major night at Sa Torre:
VERBENA · EL RETORN DE LAX’N’BUSTO
🎤 Lax’n’Busto – 40th Anniversary Tour, with Pemi Fortuny
- Fora des Sembrat · Romandre · DJ Trapella
This one is particularly special: it’s the only free concert of Lax’n’Busto’s entire tour and marks their return to Sa Torre exactly 20 years after performing there in 2006.
🐴 FRIDAY, AUGUST 28 · SANT AGUSTÍ
This is the day to experience the more traditional side of the celebrations.
11:00 · Solemn Eucharist of Sant Agustí
📍 Convent de Sant Agustí
With the Coral de Felanitx and the traditional Cavallets.
After the service, the celebrations spill into the streets with the Ball dels Cavallets, Gegantons and Gegants de Felanitx, followed by a parade with the dimonis, giants and caparrots.
And in the evening:
20:00–01:00 · VERBENA DE SANT AGUSTÍ
📍 Parc Municipal de Sa Torre
🪩 La Década Prodigiosa · Horris Kamoi · Valnou
🎟 Free entry
🚪 Doors from 17:00.
🏃♀️ SUNDAY, AUGUST 30 · THE VERBENA IS THE RACE!
One of the more unusual highlights this year:
XLVI Cursa Popular de Sant Agustí · Cursa Nocturna i Música
Instead of another traditional verbena, Felanitx turns the streets themselves into the party.
From 19:00, younger categories and race walking begin, followed at 21:00 by the 2 km, 4 km and 8 km races and walk.
🎶 There will be live music and entertainment points throughout the route, so you can run, walk — or apparently dance — your way through Felanitx.
Registration is free but compulsory and closes August 27 at 23:59. Participants in the 2 km, 4 km and 8 km races receive an official T-shirt and medal.
As the programme rather brilliantly puts it: “Aquesta nit, la verbena és la cursa!” — tonight, the verbena is the race.
🎆 MONDAY, AUGUST 31 · FINAL NIGHT
The celebrations finish with culture, comedy and fireworks.
📚 19:00 · Presentation of Homofera
📍 Portasses de l’Hospici
Presentation of the first edition of the book by Pep Sanz, winner of the XI Miquel Bauçà Poetry Prize 2026.
😂 21:30 · Nit d’Humor with Agustín El Casta
📍 Parc Municipal de Sa Torre
🎟 Free
🎆 Followed by fireworks to officially close Sant Agustí 2026.
GOOD TO KNOW: The big Sa Torre events use colour-coded identification wristbands for age control. Under-15s must enter with a responsible adult, while 16- and 17-year-olds require signed authorisation. The wristband itself does not guarantee entry or priority access to the verbenes.
📅 August 19–31, 2026
📍 Felanitx, Mallorca
Our tip? If you only choose a few dates, put August 21 for Nitx de l’Art + the opening verbena, August 23 for Lax’n’Busto, and August 28 for Sant Agustí itself firmly in the calendar.
