Palma will officially welcome the festive season this Saturday, November 22, with the long-awaited Christmas Lights Switch-On, now taking place earlier in the evening to make it easier for families to attend.
For the first time, the event moves to Plaza España for greater visibility and safety, after last year’s edition at El Born attracted more than 20,000 visitors.
✨ Palma Christmas Lights Switch-On 2025 ✨
📅 Saturday, November 22, 2025 – from 19:00
📍 Plaza España, Palma
This year’s celebration, produced by Trui Group, will feature a 35-minute immersive show titled “Dance of Stars” – a spectacular mix of light, music, and aerial performance. Two celestial characters, Lía and Beba, will dance around a magical diamond on a floating stage, accompanied by LED projections, snow effects, and a live soundtrack, culminating in a ceremonial countdown that will illuminate Palma’s Christmas lights citywide.
Ahead of the main event, Cort’s Nativity Scene will open to the public on Friday, November 21, featuring traditional Mallorcan craftsmanship and the Three Kings’ letterbox for children.
This year’s Christmas lighting – extended to 200 streets across Palma, including new areas such as Gaspar Bennazar, Son Espanyol, and Plaça Patins – will sparkle brighter than ever, with a total investment of €1.9 million.
🎄 A magical evening to mark the start of Christmas in Mallorca’s capital – full of light, music, and festive spirit.
