Spring arrives in s’Horta with one of the village’s most beloved celebrations.
Throughout the second half of May, the small village near Felanitx comes alive for the Festes de Sant Isidre i Cinquagesma – a programme filled with tradition, community spirit, food, music and activities for all ages. The celebrations honour Sant Isidre, patron saint of farmers, while also embracing the social and festive atmosphere that defines village life in Mallorca.
From solemn masses and traditional ball de bot to paella gatherings, live music, children’s activities, cycling events and the popular Cinquagesma fair, these are the kind of local fiestas where the whole village spills out onto the streets.

The official opening of the festivities with the solemn mass, village proclamation (pregó), concert by the Banda de Música de Felanitx, wine tasting and evening celebrations in the square.

Cycling day, Ruta de Tapes and the lively “Horabauxa s’Horta Jove” with local DJs until late.
📅 May 17
The traditional Paella Day takes over the streets with communal lunches, inflatables and music continuing into the afternoon.
📅 May 23 · Sa Lleonada
One of the most anticipated days of the fiestas with music, torrada and celebrations lasting all day long.
📅 May 24 · Cinquagesma Fair
A full village fair with xeremiers, antique motorcycle and car exhibitions, family entertainment and theatre performances at night.
