🍩 Bunyolada 2026 – Traditional Mallorcan Sweet Treats in Port de Sóller
A little taste of Mallorcan tradition, fresh bunyols and a lovely autumn evening by the sea! 🍂
On Wednesday 28 October 2026, Port de Sóller invites everyone to enjoy a traditional bunyolada, celebrating one of Mallorca’s most beloved autumn treats.
From 18:30, head to the Moll de les Escultures, right in front of the Tourist Information Office, for a sweet evening dedicated to bunyols and local tradition.
Organised by the Ajuntament de Sóller and Estol de Tramuntana, it’s a lovely opportunity to experience a little piece of Mallorcan culture in the beautiful surroundings of Port de Sóller.
🍩 What Is a Bunyolada?
If you’ve never tried bunyols, you’re in for a treat!
These traditional Mallorcan doughnuts are especially popular during autumn, particularly around the celebrations of Les Verges and Tots Sants.
Typically made from a soft dough that can include potato or sweet potato, they’re fried until golden and often served with a generous sprinkling of sugar.
A bunyolada is a gathering centred around enjoying these delicious treats together — a simple but much-loved part of the island’s culinary heritage.
🍂 An Autumn Evening by the Harbour
With the Tramuntana mountains as a backdrop and the harbour just steps away, Port de Sóller is a beautiful setting for this traditional celebration.
Come along with friends or family, enjoy the atmosphere and discover why bunyols are such a favourite at this time of year.
Sometimes the best plans are the simplest ones — especially when they involve something freshly fried and covered in sugar!
