Wildlife, Halloween treats and a little spooky magic in the great outdoors! 🐾👻
Looking for a Halloween plan that combines animals, nature and family fun? On Saturday 31 October and Sunday 1 November 2026, Natura Parc in Santa Eugènia is celebrating Halloween with a special weekend for the whole family.
Expect Halloween decorations throughout the park, sweet treats for little visitors, themed enrichment activities for the animals and the opportunity to enjoy a traditional Mallorcan torrada (barbecue) surrounded by nature.
And yes, costumes are encouraged! 🎃
🐾 What to Expect
🍬 Halloween Treats for Kids – Little visitors can look forward to some sweet Halloween surprises.
🎃 A Halloween-Themed Park – Explore Natura Parc as it gets dressed up for the spooky season.
🦜 Themed Animal Enrichment – The animals will receive special Halloween-inspired environmental enrichment activities, designed to encourage natural behaviours and provide stimulation.
🔥 Traditional Torrada – Enjoy a barbecue in the designated facilities, available for groups of at least 10 people, subject to weather conditions and safety regulations.
🧙♀️ Come in Costume! – Witches, little ghosts, pumpkins and other Halloween characters are welcome!
🌿 More Than an Animal Park – Conservation & Wildlife Protection
There’s more to Natura Parc than meets the eye.
Founded in 1998, Natura Parc is closely connected to Fundació Natura Parc, a non-profit organisation established in 2001 that works to protect wildlife, conserve biodiversity and promote environmental education across the Balearic Islands.
Through its different programmes, the foundation is involved in:
🐾 Wildlife Rescue & Rehabilitation – Working alongside the Balearic Government through COFIB to rescue and rehabilitate injured wild animals, with the aim of returning them to their natural habitats whenever possible.
🦜 Caring for Animals That Cannot Return to the Wild – Providing care for animals that cannot safely be released, including some rescued or confiscated exotic species.
🌱 Conservation of Native Species – Supporting projects to protect Balearic wildlife, endangered species and native animal breeds.
📚 Environmental Education – Helping children and adults better understand biodiversity, animal welfare and the importance of protecting natural habitats.
The foundation’s work goes beyond the visitor park, encompassing wildlife recovery, animal protection and conservation initiatives throughout the islands.
Visitors can learn more about these efforts and the wider mission behind Natura Parc through the Fundació Natura Parc website.
🎃 Halloween With an Educational Twist
For this special weekend, Natura Parc combines its usual wildlife-focused experience with seasonal activities.
One particularly interesting feature is the Halloween-themed animal enrichment programme. Environmental enrichment is used in animal care to encourage species-appropriate behaviours, provide mental stimulation and support animal welfare.
It’s an opportunity for families to enjoy the festivities while also introducing children to conversations about animals, their needs and the importance of protecting wildlife.
