🎃 Halloween Respetuoso 2026 – Montessori Halloween Workshops & Overnight Cinema Camp in Palma
Who says Halloween has to be scary? 👻🧡
From Wednesday 28 to Saturday 31 October 2026, Petits Herois, the Montessori-inspired children’s play centre at Ocimax Palma, is celebrating Halloween with a special programme of creative workshops, traditional Mallorcan activities and even an overnight adventure at the cinema!
Their Halloween Respetuoso (Respectful Halloween) programme offers a gentler approach to the festivities, particularly for younger children who might find frightening costumes, monsters and spooky surprises overwhelming.
Instead of focusing on fear, the activities encourage children to explore Halloween and Mallorca’s Tots Sants (All Saints’ Day) traditions through hands-on experiences, creativity and play.
And for older children who fancy a little more Halloween excitement? There’s a special overnight cinema camp in collaboration with Aficine!

🌙 A Gentler Way to Celebrate Halloween
During early childhood, distinguishing between fantasy and reality can be challenging. For some children, frightening costumes and Halloween decorations can feel overwhelming rather than exciting.
Petits Herois takes a Montessori-inspired approach, encouraging children to explore seasonal traditions in a respectful, age-appropriate way.
The workshops also introduce the meaning of Tots Sants, a time when families remember loved ones who have passed away, approaching the subject with sensitivity and care.
It’s a lovely opportunity to celebrate Halloween while discovering some of Mallorca’s traditional customs.
