🎤 Rels B · Free Concert for the Diada de Mallorca
A pretty major free concert in the heart of Palma to kick off this year’s Diada de Mallorca celebrations.
On Friday, 11 September, Mallorcan artist Rels B takes over Parc de la Mar for a special open-air concert, with the Cathedral as the backdrop.
The concert has an extra significance this year: just one day later, on 12 September, Rels B – real name Daniel Heredia Vidal — will officially be named Fill Predilecte de Mallorca, one of the island’s highest distinctions, in recognition of his career and his connection to Mallorca.
From Son Gotleu to International Stages
Born in Mallorca and raised in Son Gotleu, Rels B has gone from performing in local venues to becoming one of Spain’s most internationally successful artists, filling major stadiums and building a huge global following.
Mallorca has remained a recurring part of his music and identity throughout that rise – from his album La Isla to his memorable sold-out homecoming show at Estadi Son Moix.
This time, he’s returning with a concert that everyone can attend: entry at Parc de la Mar is completely free.
The event is organised by the Consell de Mallorca and Ajuntament de Palma as part of the celebrations surrounding the Diada de Mallorca on 12 September.
