Warm summer evenings, beautiful live music and one of Binissalem’s most charming cultural venues. Nits a la Fresca returns to Can Gelabert with a diverse programme of classical music, jazz, flamenco, folk, contemporary sounds and special exhibitions throughout the summer.

Taking place every Thursday from July to September, the series brings acclaimed local, national and international artists to the courtyard of the historic Casal de Cultura Can Gelabert, creating an intimate open-air setting for unforgettable summer nights.

2026 Programme

🎻 2 July · Lipinski Quartet – Ressonàncies d’estiu
A classical concert featuring works by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and Szymanowski.

🎺 9 July · The Fisherman Friends Jazz Band
Traditional jazz, swing, ragtime and Caribbean rhythms performed by one of Mallorca’s favourite acoustic jazz ensembles.

📖 16 July · Litteros
A literary recital combining medieval and contemporary texts with live piano.

🎨 23 July
Exhibition Openings: James Lambourne & Collective Printmaking Exhibition by the Can Gelabert Workshop (from 8:00 pm), followed by Lambourne Project (9:00 pm), where Mary Lambourne transforms her father’s artwork into an original musical performance.

🎸 30 July · Los Atunos Rojos
Poetry meets rock, punk and folk as the band presents songs from their debut album.

🎤 6 August · Niño de Elche
One of Spain’s most innovative performers, blending flamenco with jazz, electronic music and experimental art.

💃 10 August · Tall de Vermadors
A special performance commemorating Sant Llorenç and honouring Llorenç Moyà i Gelabert de la Portella.

🎼 20 August · Ensemble Tramuntana
An evening of classical masterpieces by C.P.E. Bach and Mozart performed by renowned international musicians.

🎷 27 August · Babaganoush Quartet
A unique fusion of clarinet, accordion, cello and double bass.

🎻 10 September · Música Alta Ripa – “Joia”
The closing concert presents an elegant programme of 18th-century European chamber music.

Whether you love classical music, jazz, flamenco or discovering new artists under the stars, Nits a la Fresca is one of Binissalem’s cultural highlights of the summer.
