🪩 Garito Glup Yeah Turns 28 · Algo Ritmo
One of Mallorca’s true club-culture institutions is celebrating 28 years — and this year, Garito Glup Yeah is taking things back to its roots.
On Saturday, 12 September, Garito heads to Son Verí in Marratxí for a more intimate anniversary party featuring two stages and eight hours of music, from 18:00 until 02:00.
After last year’s larger celebration at Es Jardí, the 28th anniversary deliberately returns to a closer, club-style format, inspired by the spirit that has defined Garito since it first opened in 1998.
This year’s concept, Algo Ritmo, explores our relationship with algorithms, machines and rhythm. In an increasingly automated world, the idea is refreshingly simple: people playing music for people.

20:00 · Rainer Trüby
A key figure in European club culture and longtime friend of Garito, whose legendary Rootdown sessions came to the club monthly back in 2009.
21:00 · Flo Real
Joining from Vienna with strong Detroit connections. After working alongside Kruder & Dorfmeister at G-Stone Recordings, she joined Moodymann’s Mahogani Music in 2010 and now co-directs the label alongside KDJ Records.
23:00 · Nacho “Gran Reserva” Velasco
Garito’s founder and soul returns to the booth with some of the sounds that have defined its history — from disco boogie and deep house to wherever the night takes him.
01:00 · Todos en la cabina
All the DJs come together in the booth for the final hour before the party finishes at 02:00.
🖤 28 Years of Garito
Founded in 1998, Garito Glup Yeah has been part of Mallorca’s music and club culture for almost three decades, with its booth becoming a meeting point for international artists, local DJs and generations of island nightlife.
The visual identity for Algo Ritmo is once again created by Mallorcan illustrator Juan Chito, a longtime Garito collaborator whose artwork brings this year’s world of machines, mechanisms and rhythm to life.
Rather than simply looking back, the 28th anniversary is about proving that the pulse is still very much alive.
