Month of Childhood & Adolescence 2026 in Palma – Over 100 Free Activities for Families

A whole month dedicated to Palma’s youngest residents! 🎈

From 4 to 28 November 2026, Palma celebrates the Mes de la Infància i l’Adolescència (Month of Childhood & Adolescence) with more than 100 free activities for children, teenagers and families across the city.

Organised by Ajuntament de Palma, through its Department of Education, in collaboration with around 60 organisations, the programme brings together everything from creative workshops and family concerts to sports, museum visits, storytelling, outdoor adventures and community celebrations.

And there’s a good reason behind all the fun: 20 November marks World Children’s Day, commemorating the adoption of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.

🌍 Why Palma Celebrates Children’s Rights

The Month of Childhood & Adolescence is linked to World Children’s Day on 20 November, a date dedicated to recognising and protecting the rights of children worldwide.

Since 2018, Palma has held UNICEF’s Child Friendly City recognition, reflecting its commitment to children’s participation, protection and wellbeing.

The city’s Municipal Plan for Childhood & Adolescence 2023–2027 supports this work through collaboration between public institutions, schools, community organisations and local associations.

The programme encourages children and young people not only to participate in activities, but also to have a voice in shaping the city they live in.
