💃 Line Dancing Day in Alcúdia 2026 – A Celebration of Movement, Music & Active Ageing

Dancing shoes at the ready! 💃🕺

On Saturday 7 November 2026, Alcúdia welcomes the third edition of the Diada de Ball en Línia (Line Dancing Day), bringing together older people from across Mallorca for a day of music, movement and good company.

Organised by the Consell de Mallorca, the event takes place at the Alcúdia Sports Centre from 10:00 to 16:00, with guided dance classes, adapted routines, a musical performance and plenty of opportunities to socialise.

Whether you’re already a regular on the dance floor or fancy trying something new, the event is all about staying active, meeting people and enjoying the simple pleasure of dancing together.

💃 A Day of Dancing & Good Company

Line dancing is a fun and accessible way to stay active, combining music, coordination and movement in a social setting.

Unlike traditional partner dancing, line dancing involves participants following choreographed steps together in rows, so there’s no need to bring a dance partner!

The programme includes sessions led by specialist instructors, with routines adapted to different abilities and experience levels.

The event also brings together senior associations and federations from municipalities across Mallorca, creating an opportunity to meet fellow dance enthusiasts from around the island.

❤️ Moving Together, Ageing Well

The Diada de Ball en Línia forms part of the Consell de Mallorca’s programme promoting active ageing and social participation among older residents.

Beyond the physical benefits of movement, the initiative encourages social connections, confidence and community participation.

Now in its third edition, the event continues to bring together people who share a love of music, dancing and staying active.
