Galicia comes to Palma – with seafood, pulpo, Albariño and plenty of reasons to arrive hungry.
From 11–27 September, travelling gastronomic event MarisGalicia sets up its large marquee in Palma for more than two weeks dedicated to Galician food and wine.
The concept is simple: bring some of Galicia’s best-known flavours together under one roof, with seafood prepared throughout the day and a menu ranging from lobster, langoustines and goose barnacles to pulpo a feira, seafood rice and traditional empanadas.
There will also be pulpeiros from O Carballiño preparing octopus in the traditional style, Galician artisan bread and a selection of wines including Albariño, Ribeiro, Mencía and Godello.
Entry to the event itself is free, so you can simply turn up, choose what you want to eat and drink, and pay for your order.
