📚 FLEM 2026 – Festival de Literatura Expandida de Magaluf
One of the Balearic Islands’ most anticipated literary events returns this autumn as FLEM – Festival de Literatura Expandida de Magaluf celebrates its sixth edition from 1–4 October 2026 at INNSiDE Wave Calvià.
Organised by Rata Corner and INNSiDE by Meliá, with the support of the Ajuntament de Calvià and other cultural institutions, the festival has become one of Spain’s most distinctive literary gatherings, welcoming more than 10,000 visitors in 2025.
Set just steps from the sea, FLEM brings together internationally acclaimed authors, leading Spanish writers and emerging Balearic voices for four days of conversations, readings, performances and cultural encounters.
Among the first confirmed guests are bestselling French novelist David Foenkinos, renowned paleoanthropologist Juan Luis Arsuaga, crime fiction icon Alicia Giménez Bartlett, journalist and author Manuel Jabois, Mallorcan writer Laura Gost, musician and author Rayden, Aria Aber, Lana Corujo, Olivia Lund, and Ana Garriga & Carmen Urbita, creators of the popular podcast Las Hijas de Felipe.
Alongside author talks, visitors can expect concerts, poetry readings, live interviews, the festival’s popular Secret Rooms, and a range of parallel activities throughout the weekend. This year’s edition also introduces the FLEM Writers’ Residency, welcoming authors writing in Catalan and English, as well as the new FLEM Magaluf Novel Prize, supporting emerging Spanish-language writers under 35.
The full programme will be announced in September, when registrations and special accommodation packages at the INNSiDE by Meliá hotels will also become available.
