One of the most colourful and beloved celebrations of Andalusian culture in Mallorca returns to Santa Ponça from June 19–21, bringing three days of music, devotion, dance, and community spirit to Calvià.
Organised by the Casa de Andalucía en Calvià, the Fiestas del Rocío have become a cherished tradition on Mallorca’s cultural calendar, attracting hundreds of residents and visitors each year. Inspired by the famous pilgrimage to El Rocío in Andalusia, the festival combines religious traditions with lively celebrations, flamenco performances, live music, and a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
Throughout the weekend, the Jaume I Fairground will be transformed into a festive gathering space filled with Rocío choirs, dance groups, traditional dress, and Andalusian hospitality.
At the heart of the celebrations are three key events: the Procession of the Virgin, the Pilgrimage to Son Ferrer, and the Rocío Mass.
