As the summer sun sets over Palma, the historic Cloister of La Real Monastery becomes the stage for an unforgettable evening of opera under the stars.
Part of the 5th Balearic Classical Music Festival, the Opera Gala: Music in the Moonlight brings together the renowned Orfeó Balear and Camerata Balear Orchestra for a spectacular open-air concert featuring some of the most beloved arias, overtures, and choral masterpieces in the operatic repertoire.
This year’s gala will feature soprano soloists Paula Riera and Raquel Llera, baritone Jorge Tello, tenor Miquel Estelrich, and 150 performers on stage under the musical direction of Maestro Daniel Mulet.
Audiences can look forward to an evening dedicated to the great masters of opera, including Verdi, Mozart, Puccini, Bellini, Donizetti, Offenbach, Rossini, and Haydn, performed in the magical setting of one of Palma’s most atmospheric historic venues.
