🎉 Festes del Carme 2026
Celebrate summer with one of Palma’s most charming neighbourhood festivals as the Festes del Carme return to Porta de Santa Margalida from 13–18 July.
For six days, Plaça dels Patins (Plaça Bisbe Berenguer de Palou) transforms into a lively gathering place filled with live music, family activities, traditional Mallorcan culture, sports and great food. Organised by the Associació de Veïns Porta de Santa Margalida, these festivities are all about bringing the local community together while welcoming visitors to experience an authentic side of Palma.
✨ Festival Highlights
🎷 Monday, 13 July
Kick off the festivities with the II Plaça Patins Trick Card Tournament at 19:30, followed by Jazz al Parc at 20:30, featuring a live performance by Sons Espai Creatiu.
🛼 Tuesday, 14 July
At 20:00, enjoy an Artistic Roller Skating Exhibition by Club Patinatge Rodes d’Or, showcasing impressive performances in the heart of the square.
💦 Wednesday, 15 July
Families won’t want to miss the Water Castle from 17:00, offering an afternoon of fun and cooling off for children.
⚽💃 Thursday, 16 July
The day begins with a Solemn Mass at 11:00 at the Convent de les Tereses on La Rambla. In the evening, the festivities continue with the II Neighbourhood Football Tournament at 19:00, followed by a traditional Ballada Popular at 20:00 on Carrer Oms, where everyone is invited to join in the dancing.
🍽️🎶 Friday, 17 July
One of the festival’s most anticipated evenings is the Sopar a la Fresca at 20:00, when neighbours and visitors gather for a communal outdoor dinner in Plaça Patins. The evening also features a grand raffle with fantastic prizes and live music by Paco, creating the perfect summer atmosphere.
🛹 Saturday, 18 July
The celebrations conclude with the Shine Skate Jam at 18:00, bringing exciting skateboarding demonstrations and urban culture to the square.

A food truck will be serving food and drinks during the festivities, making it easy to spend the evening enjoying the vibrant atmosphere with family and friends.
