🎶 Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony: Ode to Joy 🎻✨

📅 October 3, 2026
📍 Auditorium de Palma

Experience one of the greatest masterpieces in classical music as Orfeó Balear joins forces with the Orquestra Simfònica Sant Cugat for a powerful performance of Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony.

Taking place at Auditorium de Palma, this extraordinary concert brings together orchestra, choir, and internationally acclaimed soloists for an evening that celebrates music’s enduring message of hope, unity, and humanity.

From the dramatic opening movement to the triumphant final chorus of the world-famous Ode to Joy, Beethoven’s Ninth remains one of the most moving and influential works ever composed. Revolutionary for its time, it was the first symphony to incorporate solo singers and choir, transforming the genre forever.

The concert will also pay tribute to celebrated Catalan soprano Conxita Badia (1897–1975), featuring a special first half dedicated to her musical legacy, including works by Eduard Toldrà and arrangements by acclaimed composer and conductor Salvador Brotons.
