🦀 The Crab · EMIFF 2026
This year’s official festival poster introduces The Crab, designed by Olaf Meyer and inspired by one of the Mediterranean’s familiar inhabitants.
Resilient, determined and quite happy to forge its own path, the crab represents the festival’s independent spirit: exploring new perspectives, challenging conventions and making space for different voices.
It also completes a three-year visual trilogy celebrating the marine life of the Balearic Islands:
2024 · Flying Fish
2025 · Octopus
2026 · Crab
Three Mediterranean creatures, three chapters in the festival’s story, culminating in its 15th anniversary.
