Tennis, tapas, wine and live music come together for one of the most social nights of this year’s Rafa Nadal Open by Movistar.
On Friday, 4 September, during the tournament’s quarterfinals, the Rafa Nadal Academy in Manacor hosts a new edition of El Tie-Break: Vinos y Tapas — bringing six restaurants and six wineries together for three hours of food, wine, tennis and music.
And the best part? Entry is completely free, with individual tapas available for just €3–€5.
🍴 Six Restaurants
Some of Mallorca’s best-known culinary names will swap their usual restaurants for a more informal tapas format:
Grupo Maca de Castro · Santi Taura · Übeck · La Loba · Cassai · Roland Garros Restaurant
Each will create special dishes specifically for the evening, giving you the chance to try several different kitchens in one place.
🍷 Six Wineries
Alongside the food, you’ll be able to discover wines from:
4 Kilos · Binigrau · Can Axartell · Casa Rojo · Gallinas i Focas · Ribas
Five projects connected to the Balearics are joined by nationally recognised Casa Rojo, with wines selected especially for the event.
🎾 And Yes, There’s Tennis
El Tie-Break takes place during the quarterfinals of the Rafa Nadal Open, so you can move between the different food and wine stands while following some of the most important matches of the tournament.
The ATP Challenger 75 runs from 31 August–6 September, bringing emerging international talent alongside more established players to Manacor.
🎶 From Vinyl to Live Music
Music starts during the afternoon session, with DJ JAG – Jaume Grimalt and PD’s Rentaplats playing vinyl.
Then at 22:30, The Siberets take over for a live performance until 23:45 — so the evening continues after El Tie-Break officially finishes.
