BALEAR 1983 is opening the doors of its brewery in Binissalem, inviting visitors behind the scenes to discover how its locally produced lager is made, from the ingredients and brewing process to the finished glass.
Made with water from the Serra de Tramuntana, BALEAR 1983 was created with a clear mission: to celebrate Balearic identity, support the local economy and keep production on the islands.
And they’ve taken that commitment quite seriously. Through their Compromís Balear initiative, the company has formally signed a commitment before a notary to maintain its production in the Balearic Islands, encouraging other local businesses to do the same.
Now you can discover the brewery for yourself.
During this 90-minute guided tour, you’ll explore the production facilities, learn about the ingredients and techniques behind BALEAR 1983, taste the different malts used in brewing and discover the story behind the brand.
The experience finishes with a guided beer tasting, where you’ll learn to identify aromas, flavours and mouthfeel, accompanied by an aperitif featuring traditional Balearic products.
