🐟 XXIII Mostra de la Llampuga · Cala Rajada
One of Mallorca’s big autumn food traditions returns to Cala Rajada – and this one is all about the llampuga. 🐟🍴
From 9–11 October, the port hosts the Cap de Setmana del Peix Fresc, three days celebrating fresh local fish with tapas, a huge seafood paella, live music and the 23rd Mostra de la Llampuga.
The star is llampuga – also known as mahi-mahi or dolphinfish – a seasonal catch closely connected to Mallorca’s autumn fishing tradition. For Sunday’s gastronomic fair alone, 1,400 kg of llampuga have been distributed among participating stands, which will prepare around 20 different recipes showcasing just how many ways this local fish can be served.
