🎨 Art Palma Summer 2026

Art Palma Summer returns on Thursday, June 4, 2026, once again transforming Mallorca into a vibrant open route of contemporary art, gallery openings and cultural encounters to mark the beginning of the island’s summer art season.

Organised by the Art Palma Contemporani, the event will bring together more than 20 galleries and exhibition spaces across Mallorca, offering free access to around 50 exhibitions featuring works by more than 100 artists from Spain and abroad.

From 18:00 to 22:00, visitors are invited to explore some of the island’s leading contemporary art spaces in a relaxed and accessible atmosphere — moving between exhibitions, discovering new artistic voices and experiencing Mallorca’s cultural scene at one of its most active moments of the year.

Over the years, Art Palma Summer has established itself as one of the major highlights of Mallorca’s cultural calendar, alongside Art Palma Brunch and Nit de l’Art, attracting collectors, curators, art professionals and visitors from across the island and beyond.

🌍 A contemporary art route across Mallorca

While Palma remains at the centre of the programme, Art Palma Summer once again expands across the island with participating galleries and cultural spaces in Andratx and Pollença, creating an artistic route that connects some of Mallorca’s most important contemporary art destinations.

🖼️ Participating galleries & spaces

Confirmed spaces for the 2026 edition include leading galleries such as ABA Art Lab, Baró, CCA Andratx, Galería Fran Reus, Kewenig Palma, Galería L21, Galería Maior de Pollença, Galería Pelaires, Pep Llabrés Art Contemporani, Galería Xavier Fiol, Tube Gallery, Galería Fermay and Galería LA BIBI, among many others linked to Mallorca’s thriving contemporary art scene.

The programme will feature a wide range of artistic disciplines including:

🎨 Painting
📸 Photography
🗿 Sculpture
🎥 Video art
🌿 Installations & new visual languages

Mallorca as a Mediterranean cultural destination

Beyond the exhibitions themselves, Art Palma Summer has become an important meeting point for artists, collectors, curators, cultural professionals and visitors interested in discovering some of the most exciting contemporary art proposals currently being presented in the Balearics.

The 2026 edition also arrives at a particularly dynamic moment for Mallorca’s cultural landscape, as the island continues to strengthen its international artistic profile through initiatives such as Mallorca PhotoFest and the growing visibility of its galleries within Europe’s contemporary art circuit.

For one evening, Palma and several cultural enclaves across Mallorca once again become a large open-air contemporary art route – reinforcing the island’s position as one of the Mediterranean’s leading cultural destinations during the summer season.

The Calendar's Note

Founded in 2004, Art Palma Contemporani (APC) is the association of contemporary art galleries in Mallorca. It organizes three annual highlights: Nit de l’Art (September), Art Palma Brunch (March), and Art Palma Summer (June), showcasing local and international talent and strengthening Mallorca’s position on the global art map.

The Calendar Mallorca is thrilled to be an official media partner, supporting the communication of the best events, gallery tours and happenings during these three unique occasions, as well as in the days leading up to and following the events.

La Nit de l’Art started in 1996 and has since become an essential cultural celebration. The event highlights the importance of contemporary art in society, emphasizing inclusivity, dialogue, and cultural values like tolerance and peace. It offers a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the work of both emerging and established artists, bridging local and international contexts.

In addition to this event, Art Palma Contemporani organizes other joint gallery openings, such as the Art Palma Brunch in March and the Art Palma Summer in June. These events are evolving and expanding, offering new and innovative artistic experiences.
