For three days, shopping local in Palma comes with a little extra entertainment. 🎶 Viu Palma. La Ciutat de les Compres brings music, dance and street performances to shopping streets and neighbourhoods across the city from 17–19 September.
Organised by PalmaActiva and PIMECO, the initiative is designed to support Palma’s independent shops and small businesses, with roaming flashmobs, xarangues (brass bands), traditional xeremiers and circus performers popping up across the city.
Rather than concentrating everything in the centre, the programme reaches commercial areas including Pere Garau, Son Ferriol, Blanquerna, Nuredduna and Plaça de Madrid, alongside Palma’s central shopping streets.
