On Saturday 31 October 2026, Can Cavall Blau – Home of Amargéro invites you to welcome the autumn season with a relaxed, rustic lunch surrounded by vines.
Think seasonal comfort food, good company and locally produced natural wines, all enjoyed in a beautiful vineyard setting.
For this special occasion, chef Klaus Menze from Cabra Blanca Restaurant will prepare two traditional European autumn dishes, each with its own regional character.
🍽️ What’s on the Menu?
Guests can choose between two hearty autumn classics:
🥬 Grünkohl – Northern Germany
A traditional kale stew served with Pinkel sausage, smoked pork loin and boiled salted potatoes. A comforting northern German speciality, perfect for the cooler months.
🍎 Choucroute – Alsace, France
A French Alsatian-inspired dish featuring creamy sauerkraut with apple and pan-fried eaglefish, bringing together savoury and delicate flavours.
Both dishes are prepared by chef Klaus Menze of Cabra Blanca Restaurant.
🍷 Natural Wines & Amargéro
Your ticket includes a welcome drink (Can Cavall Blau’s own Amargéro), setting the tone for a leisurely afternoon among the vines.
Throughout the event, guests can explore the farm’s natural wines, available to purchase at the bar by the glass or bottle. Other drinks will also be available.
🌿 A Saturday Made for Slowing Down
The afternoon begins at 13:00, giving everyone time to settle in, enjoy their welcome drink and soak up the vineyard atmosphere before lunch is served at 14:00.
It’s a lovely opportunity to celebrate the changing seasons, discover traditional autumn recipes from different European regions and spend a few unhurried hours in good company.
