🔥 Nit de les Ànimes 2026 in Palma – 10 Years of Mallorcan Traditions, Music & Fire
Forget Halloween for a moment. Mallorca has its own way of celebrating the spirits, and it involves dimonis, fire, music and plenty of local traditions! 🔥🎃
On Saturday 7 November 2026, Palma celebrates the 10th edition of Nit de les Ànimes (Night of the Souls), transforming Parc de Sa Riera into a lively celebration of Mallorcan culture, folklore and family traditions.
Organised by Ajuntament de Palma in collaboration with local community associations, this free event brings together traditional music, children’s workshops, storytelling, folk dancing and a spectacular correfoc to close the evening.
There will also be special theatrical guided visits to Palma’s Municipal Cemetery, offering another way to explore the island’s traditions surrounding remembrance and the departed.
🎃 A Celebration of Mallorca’s Traditions
While Halloween has become increasingly popular across the island, Mallorca has its own long-established customs connected to Tots Sants (All Saints’ Day) and Dia dels Difunts (All Souls’ Day).
The Nit de les Ànimes celebrates this local heritage, bringing generations together through traditional crafts, music, storytelling and community activities.
And this year marks a special milestone: 10 editions celebrating Mallorcan popular culture!
