TWO BIRDS AND A STONE — Klaus Weber (Germany)
📍 CCA Kunsthalle I
📅 Nov 1, 2025 – Mar 14, 2026
🎉 Opening: Friday, Oct 31 · 17:00–20:00
CCA Andratx presents Two Birds and a Stone, the first solo exhibition in Mallorca by German conceptual artist Klaus Weber.
Weber explores the tensions between perception, reflection, and experience — transforming everyday logic into poetic paradoxes. His works, often infused with humour, irony, and bisociation (the fusion of unrelated ideas), challenge fixed patterns of understanding.
In pieces like Clock Rock, a pendulum is joined with a stone to create a clock that measures nothing — a meditation on time, stillness, and transformation. The title Two Birds and a Stone playfully deconstructs the saying “kill two birds with one stone,” stripping it to its simplest parts and inviting a softer, more imaginative reality.
The exhibition features both new works created during Weber’s CCA Artist Residency (Sept 2025) and earlier pieces spanning over a decade of his career.
Weber’s practice spans sculpture, installation, and conceptual experiments that subvert functional rationality through humour and wonder. His work has been exhibited at major institutions including KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin), MOCA (Los Angeles), Mori Art Museum (Tokyo), and Kunsthalle Wien (Vienna), as well as international biennials such as Manifesta 7 and Lyon Biennale.
BIG CALM — Lars Nørgård (Denmark)
📍 CCA Gallery 2
📅 Sept 18 – Dec 20, 2025
🎉 Opening: Thursday, Sept 18 · 17:00–20:00
Painter, illustrator, and graphic artist Lars Nørgård (b. 1956, Aalborg) is a central figure in Danish contemporary art, known for his absurd, surreal humour and vibrant, energetic canvases.
In BIG CALM, Nørgård presents monumental abstract paintings — layered, expressive, and full of kinetic movement — alongside playful ink drawings that capture what he calls “a series of happy accidents.”
EVERYTHING NOT SAVED WILL BE LOST — Charlie Stein (Germany)
📍 CCA Kunsthalle 2
📅 Oct 3 – Dec 20, 2025
🎉 Opening: Friday, Oct 3 · 17:00–20:00
🗞️ Press Preview: Thursday, Oct 2 · 10:00–12:00
Borrowing its title from the iconic Nintendo warning, Charlie Stein’s exhibition transforms Everything not saved will be lost into a meditation on memory, intimacy, and the fragility of human connection in a digital world.
Her luminous, surreal works — spanning painting, installation, and AI collaborations — explore the porous boundaries between the physical and virtual, asking what remains when the world insists on forgetting.
✨ With exhibitions by Klaus Weber, Lars Nørgård, and Charlie Stein, CCA Andratx continues to connect Mallorca to the international art scene — offering profound reflections on perception, memory, and the strange beauty of being human.
