Festes de Sant Joan 2026 in Muro
One of Mallorca’s most beloved summer celebrations returns as Muro honours its patron saint with three weeks of festivities, traditions, music, sports, family activities, and community events.
Taking place from June 6 to 27, the Festes de Sant Joan transform the town into a vibrant gathering place where centuries-old customs meet modern entertainment. Rooted in the magical traditions of the summer solstice, Sant Joan has long been one of Muro’s most cherished celebrations, bringing together residents and visitors of all ages.
This year’s programme includes children’s activities, sporting competitions, concerts, dance performances, cultural events, traditional revetles, a correfoc, the arrival of the Flama del Canigó, and spectacular live music performances.

Sant Joan Day – June 24
The main day of celebrations begins with the traditional gathering of giants and xeremiers, followed by the solemn mass in honour of Sant Joan Baptista. The festivities continue with the traditional Ball de Caparrots, community celebrations throughout the town, a headline concert by Tomeu Penya, and a midnight fireworks display over Sa Riba.
