Festes de Sant Cristòfol de s’Arenal 2026
One of the highlights of summer in s’Arenal returns from 3–12 July, bringing ten days of live music, family activities, traditional Mallorcan culture, sporting events and seaside celebrations.
From colourful parades and foam parties to concerts, community dinners, the famous Gran Verbena and the traditional maritime procession, there’s something happening every day.

Friday, 3 July
- Opening parade with Batucada Trencadors
- Official opening speech
- Playback Contest for children and adults in Parc Joan Ferré.
Saturday, 4 July
- Traditional parade through the streets with Xeremiers, giants and folk groups
- Mallorcan folk dancing
- Evening Ball Popular in Plaça Major.
Sunday, 5 July
- Traditional Duck Race at Caló de Sant Antoni
- Dimoni de ses Arenes and traditional games
- Line Dance exhibitions
- Evening concert by the Banda de Música de Llucmajor accompanied by the symphonic tribute 2 Pájaros Contracantan (Serrat & Sabina).
Monday, 6 July
- Children’s Water Party
- Family workshops creating traditional caparrots (giant heads), running over three days.
Tuesday, 7 July
- Art exhibition opens
- Foam Party with DJ in Plaça Major.
Wednesday, 8 July
- Final caparrots workshop
- Arenaler de l’Any awards ceremony
- Evening Magic Show.
Thursday, 9 July
- Concert by the Senior Choir and Cugulutx
- Rhythmic gymnastics exhibition
- Children’s Caparrots Parade through the streets.
Friday, 10 July
- Children’s street painting
- Giant water games
- Cena a la Fresca (community open-air dinner)
- Live covers band followed by a DJ party.
Saturday, 11 July
- Family games on the beach
- Gran Verbena – El Verano de Tu Vida, featuring Loco Mía, Selena, Jaume Colombàs, La Década Prodigiosa and more.
Sunday, 12 July
- Solemn Mass in honour of Sant Cristòfol
- Traditional Blessing of the Vehicles
- Procession of Sant Cristòfol and the Virgen del Carmen, followed by a maritime procession
- Concert by the Banda de Música de s’Arenal
- Midnight Fireworks to close the festivities.
