🏮 Festa de les Llanternes 2026 · Lantern Festival in Inca
A lovely autumn tradition returns to Inca. ✨ Festa de les Llanternes invites families to spend an afternoon creating traditional lanterns before taking them through the streets in a colourful evening parade.
The celebration begins in Plaça de Santa Maria la Major, where children can transform a melon, watermelon or pumpkin into their own lantern. Once the lanterns are ready, everyone will set off together towards the Claustre de Sant Domingo, where the evening continues with storytelling.

Bring from home:
- A melon, watermelon or pumpkin
- A spoon for hollowing it out
- A short, wide candle
- 1 metre of string or ribbon
19:00 · Lantern Parade
The cercavila sets off towards the Claustre de Sant Domingo with the finished lanterns.
📚 Storytelling · “Contes de llum, cuques i fanalets”
The celebration continues at the cloister with stories inspired by light, fireflies and lanterns.
