Eclipse Aboard – A Solar Eclipse Gastronomic Experience with Terrae
Witness one of the most extraordinary natural phenomena of the decade from the Mediterranean aboard the beautifully restored Susana II (1969).
On 12 August 2026, Terrae invites guests on an unforgettable evening where gastronomy, sailing and the rare total solar eclipse come together in one truly unique experience. Mallorca is considered one of the world’s privileged locations from which to witness this exceptional astronomical event, making this a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
Departing from Port Nàutic Cala Gamba, guests will sail into the bay as the eclipse unfolds over the Mediterranean. During the journey, Michelin Green Star chef David Rivas and the Terrae team will present a carefully curated culinary experience inspired by the island’s landscape, seasonal local ingredients and Terrae’s signature zero-waste philosophy. Every dish has been designed around the eclipse itself, transforming the evening into a multisensory celebration of Mallorca, nature and contemporary gastronomy.
The experience includes a welcome aperitif, bubbles and champagne during the eclipse, a multi-course dinner paired with selected wines, as well as beer, soft drinks, still and sparkling water throughout the evening.
With capacity limited to just eight guests for the shared experience (or available as a private charter), this promises to be one of Mallorca’s most exclusive culinary events of the summer.
