🎉 Dia de les Illes Balears 2026
Every year on 1 March, the Balearic Islands come together to celebrate the Dia de les Illes Balears – marking the anniversary of the Statute of Autonomy (1983), the moment the islands established their own self-government within Spain.
This year’s celebration is the biggest yet: 301 activities across the archipelago, running from 26 February to 2 March, on all four islands. The 2026 edition is held under the motto ‘Una manera de ser’ – a way of being.
