🎉 Festes de Sant Joan 2026 a La Soledat
One of Palma’s most community-driven Sant Joan celebrations returns this June as the neighbourhood of La Soledat comes together for a week of food, music, traditions and local festivities.
Organised by the Associació de Veïnades i Veïnats de La Soledat, the programme celebrates the spirit of the neighbourhood with open-air gatherings, traditional music, dancing, a community market, family activities and a guided walk through the area’s history.
✨ Highlights
🍑 19 June · Sopar a la Fresca & Apricot Coca Competition
The festivities begin with a popular open-air dinner in Plaça de Sant Francesc Xavier, accompanied by live music, a raffle, DJ sets and a blues, rock and country concert by Cussatti Acoustic Live.
A special highlight is the 1st Apricot Coca Competition, celebrating one of Mallorca’s most beloved seasonal treats.
🎶 20 June · Xeremiers & Traditional Dancing
The streets of La Soledat come alive with a traditional parade led by the Xeremiers des Prat, followed by a popular folk dance evening featuring the dance school De Pinta en Ample and live traditional music.
🛍️ 21 June · Neighbourhood & Solidarity Market
The 8th edition of the community market brings together second-hand treasures, books, crafts, jewellery, vinyl records, decoration and local initiatives.
The morning also includes:
🥁 Batucada with Tronats des Rafal
⚽ Children’s sports activities
🍩 Traditional bunyols and refreshments
🚶 27 June · Guided Walk & Recital
The celebrations conclude with a guided neighbourhood walk led by Josep F. Borne and an evening recital of voice and piano at the Parish Church of Nostra Senyora de la Soledat.
