🌊 Cap Falcó Beach Clean-Up – Help Protect Mallorca’s Coastline

On Saturday 14 November 2026, join Mallorca Preservation for a morning of environmental action at Cala Cap Falcó in Calvià, helping to protect one of the island’s beautiful coastal spots.
Organised as part of the Academia del Clima initiative, this community beach clean-up invites locals, families and visitors to roll up their sleeves, meet like-minded people and make a positive difference to Mallorca’s marine environment.
From 10:00 to 12:00, participants will collect cigarette butts, plastics and microplastics while learning more about the impact these everyday pollutants have on marine ecosystems.
A little effort, a big difference. And two hours well spent!
🐚 A Morning of Action for Mallorca’s Coastline
Plastic pollution remains a major challenge for marine environments, and even the smallest pieces of waste can have lasting consequences.
During this guided clean-up, participants will focus on collecting:
- Cigarette butts: Small but harmful pollutants that can release toxic substances into the environment.
- Plastic waste: Discarded packaging and other plastic debris that can end up in the sea.
- Microplastics: Tiny plastic fragments that can affect marine life and ecosystems.
Alongside the clean-up, participants will learn about the environmental impact of these materials and why protecting Mallorca’s coastline matters.
🌱 Everyone Can Make a Difference
The activity is open to all ages, making it a lovely opportunity for families to get involved in environmental conservation together.
Children are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
All necessary clean-up materials, including gloves and rubbish bags, will be provided by the organisers.
Simply bring water, wear comfortable clothing and suitable footwear, and come ready to lend a hand.
