Beyond the Elevator Pitch brings together a small group of founders, entrepreneurs and creatives for an evening of practical insights, honest conversations, dinner and new connections at the private Aethos Club in Palma.
Hosted by Adriana Nem, Melanie Isakowitz and David Franzen, the evening starts with two hands-on sessions designed to help founders communicate their ideas more effectively — both in the room and on the pitch deck — before everyone sits down for dinner.
The Evening
🩵 18:00 · Beyond the Elevator Pitch
An interactive workshop with Melanie Isakowitz exploring communication beyond simply finding the right words.
Through body language, archetypes and the Colours technique, Melanie will look at how we communicate, how we’re perceived and how to pitch with more confidence without losing your own personality.
The session is relevant beyond investor pitches too — from speaking at an event to introducing yourself in a room full of people you don’t know.
📈 Pitch Deck Essentials
Next, David Franzen, Managing Partner at Max Ventures Mallorca and CEO of Pynn, shares an investor’s perspective on what actually matters in a pitch deck.
Having met and worked with hundreds of early-stage founders, David will cover what investors want to see, common considerations when preparing a deck and the details that can make a difference when fundraising.
🍽️ 19:00 · Founders Dinner
After the workshops, the evening moves to the table for a relaxed dinner centred around good food, honest conversation and meeting other people building businesses and projects of their own.
Vegetarian and vegan options are available, alongside alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Guests will receive an email after registering to select their preferred menu.
And there’s no rush to leave after dinner – Aethos Club’s bar remains open for anyone who wants to stay for another drink and continue the conversation.
