Legendary British saxophonist John Helliwell, best known as a longtime member of Supertramp, comes to Mallorca Country Club for a special open-air concert on Friday, 9 October 2026.
Rather than a conventional rock show, the evening has been created as an intimate, stripped-back performance. Helliwell will be joined by an ensemble of two violins, viola, cello and keyboard/organ, reimagining some of Supertramp’s best-known songs alongside other timeless classics in acoustic arrangements created especially for the occasion.
With more than five decades on stage, Helliwell has been part of the unmistakable sound of Supertramp and albums including Breakfast in America, with classics such as The Logical Song and Dreamer forming part of the band’s legacy.
Before the main concert, Joe Löhrmann of My Traveling Piano will set the mood with a live piano performance as guests arrive.
The concert takes place in Mallorca Country Club’s open-air “colosseum”, with a circular stage placing the audience around the musicians for a rather different night at one of Santa Ponça’s best-known sporting venues.
