Festes de la Mare de Déu del Carme 2026 – Cala Figuera
One of Mallorca’s most picturesque fishing villages celebrates its patron saint with over a week of concerts, seaside traditions, community dinners, live music and family-friendly festivities.
Vanaf 4-16 juli 2026, Cala Figuera host de Festes de la Mare de Déu del Carme, bringing locals and visitors together for a vibrant programme overlooking the harbour. Highlights include open-air concerts, beer and wine tastings, traditional dances, children’s activities, cinema under the stars, lively verbenas, a spectacular performance by Tomeu Penya, en de geliefde Maritieme processie honouring the patron saint of fishermen.

4 juli
The celebrations begin with Música Arran de Mar, an extraordinary open-air concert as part of the XIV Festival Internacional de Música Vila de Santanyímet de Cor van de Valenciaanse Generalitat, sopraan Ofelia Sala en pianist Bartomeu Jaume performing opera, zarzuela and classical favourites by the sea. 5 juli
Enjoy an evening concert by the Banda Municipal de Música de Santanyí on the harbour esplanade.
8 juli
Sample local craft beers and Son Alegre wines, accompanied by live performances from The Family Band en Aina and the Pure Souls, with food available throughout the evening.
9 juli
Join the traditional Sopar a la Fresca, featuring pork loin with tumbet, followed by live entertainment from Els Autèntics Valencians.
10 juli
De Verbena Jove takes over the harbour with live music by mijnstart followed by DJs TEREG en Paller.
11 juli
De dag begint met een marine and coastal clean-up, organised by Ocean Charter Mallorca together with volunteers. In the evening, enjoy a lively verbena with Orquestra Aquarius, Valnou, followed by the late-night Cala Figuera Olé party featuring DJs Agus, Polichy and Mateu des Taller.
12 juli
Family day includes the traditional Rompuda d’Olles, children’s entertainment with games and workshops, and an evening of traditional Mallorcan dancing with Xicalènia en Da-li Cebes.
13 juli
Enjoy an outdoor screening of the musical favourite Mamma Mia! onder de sterren.
14 juli
A magical open-air recital for flute and piano by Catalina Roig en Rafael González, inspired by the sea and performed at the scenic Mirador overlooking the coastline.
15 juli
One of the biggest nights of the festival features a Grand Revetla with Eva, Gevolgd door Tomeu Penya celebrating his Aprop Teu anniversary tour together with Tweelingen.
16 juli – Mare de Déu del Carme
Het festival wordt afgesloten met de plechtige mis, gevolgd door de traditionele Procession to the Harbour en de iconische Maritieme processie brengt Cala Figuera. In the evening, enjoy La Movida – The Musical, prize-giving for the best decorated boats, and a colourful closing celebration.
