Sa Pobla prepares to celebrate a truly special edition of the Trobada de Xeremiers i Fira de Lutiers, marking 30 years of music, craftsmanship, and Mallorcan tradition.
This milestone year brings added significance – the event has now been officially declared a Festa d’Interès Cultural, recognising its importance in preserving Mallorca’s intangible heritage. The 2025 edition will also pay a heartfelt tribute to Toni Torrens, the driving force and soul behind this beloved gathering of pipers and instrument makers.

Over three days, the sound of xeremies (Mallorcan bagpipes) will once again fill the streets of Sa Pobla with life, tradition, and fellowship.
Alongside the performances, the Fira de Lutiers will showcase the craftsmanship of local and international artisans who build and restore traditional instruments – a living connection between music, memory, and art.

Saturday, 22 November – Young Pipers & Tribute to Antoni Torrens

- 🕙 10:00 – II Trobada de Xeremiers Infantils, gathering the youngest pipers who represent the future of this living tradition.
- 🕛 12:00 – Recognition Ceremony: “Continuar el llegat, el millor homenatge” – presentation of the XXIX Trobada commemorative CD and a tribute to Antoni Torrens i Gost, a key figure in the history and continuity of the event. Includes musical performances and institutional speeches.
Sunday, 23 November – Main Day: Aplec & Fira de Lutiers

Hundreds of pipers from across Mallorca — and beyond — gather for a grand aplec celebrating friendship, heritage, and sound. The Fira de Lutiers showcases traditional instrument makers and restorers, offering visitors a chance to learn, exchange, and discover.
🎺 12:00 – Cercavila Popular – pipers visit the Huialfàs Residence, sharing music with older residents in a gesture of intergenerational gratitude and inclusion.
