🌿 📍 Sant Jordi Warm-Up

Before the big day, Palma sets the tone with a pre–Sant Jordi celebration across three neighbourhood locations – a more local, relaxed version of what’s to come.

📍 Locations:

  • Plaça del Progrés
  • Plaça París
  • Carrer Nuredduna

🕙 10:00 – 14:00

✨ What to expect:

  • Book & flower stalls from local bookshops and florists
  • Children’s storytelling sessions
  • Street parades with caparrots Tom & Rosa

A perfect way to experience Sant Jordi away from the crowds, especially if you’re with kids or want something more local.

🌹📖 Main Event: Sant Jordi Day

✨ Highlights include:

  • Book presentations & literary talks
  • Reading clubs & writing workshops
  • Library activities across Palma

  • Palma’s public libraries
  • Cultural spaces like Misericòrdia & Ca n’Oleo

👉 This extended program makes Sant Jordi feel like a city-wide cultural festival, not just a single day.

✨ Why you shouldn’t miss it

Sant Jordi in Palma is one of those days that just flows:

You start with “just a quick walk”…
and suddenly it’s hours later —
a book in your hand, a rose somewhere in your bag,
and that feeling that the whole city is quietly celebrating something beautiful.
