🍷 Sa Terrassa · A Taste of Son Bunyola
You don’t need to be staying at Son Bunyola to experience its restaurant – and this might be one worth adding to the list for a long lunch or dinner in the Tramuntana.
Set in front of the historic finca near Banyalbufar, Sa Terrassa looks out across the Mediterranean from Son Bunyola’s extraordinary 1,300-acre estate, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards and the Serra de Tramuntana.
In the kitchen, Chef Brenda Lisiotti puts the focus firmly on Mallorca, with Mediterranean menus built around fresh, local ingredients and a strong farm-to-fork philosophy.
Much of what arrives on the plate starts just a few steps away. Son Bunyola’s gardens and orchards produce organic herbs and vegetables, citrus fruits, olives and almonds, while honey comes from the estate’s own beehives.
🔥 Seafood from the Barbecue
Alongside the seasonal menu, Sa Terrassa serves a Mediterranean Fruits de Mer straight from the barbecue, bringing together octopus, calamari, spiny lobster, mussels, razor clams, clams, scallops and red prawns.
It comes with lime aioli and chermoula, plus green salad and grilled potatoes with herb butter – very much made for a long table and an even longer lunch.

🍇 And then there’s the wine…
Son Bunyola has also brought back a piece of the estate’s history.
The property was known for wine production during the 19th century, and after replanting its vines with the local Malvasia grape, spring 2026 marked the release of Son Bunyola’s first own-label wine in more than a century.
Produced in partnership with a nearby winery, the wine is available exclusively on the estate – either from the restaurant’s wine list or to take home from the hotel boutique.
Beyond its own label, Sa Terrassa’s wine selection places particular emphasis on Mallorcan wines and nearby producers, alongside bottles from further afield.
🌿 Lunch or Dinner?
Lunch is relaxed and unhurried, with Mediterranean dishes and plenty of reason to stay at the table longer than planned.
Come evening, Sa Terrassa becomes a more refined affair — and with the restaurant sitting directly in front of the finca, sunset in the Tramuntana does quite a lot of the decorating.
For something more intimate, private dining is also available, including a private dining room for small groups and experiences for two in different locations around the hotel.
