Sa Fira de Santanyí 2026 – Art, Local Flavours, Fire & Festivities
Three days of Mallorcan tradition, art, gastronomy and celebration in the heart of Santanyí! 🔥🎨
From 23 to 25 October 2026, Santanyí celebrates its annual Sa Fira, transforming the town centre into a lively meeting place for locals and visitors.
The festivities begin on Friday with CANAL’ART, Santanyí’s art night, featuring exhibitions, open galleries, artistic installations and live music. Saturday is the main fair day, bringing together local associations, traditional food, music, exhibitions and spectacular evening celebrations. Sunday rounds off the weekend with classic cars and traditional dancing.
🎨 Friday, 23 October – CANAL’ART
From 18:30, Santanyí’s art scene takes centre stage with the opening of CANAL’ART at Ses Cases Noves.
Explore exhibitions and galleries throughout the town, discover work by local and visiting artists, and enjoy live performances in the streets. Highlights include the finalists of the XIV Premi Vila de Santanyí Francisco Bernareggi d’Arts Visuals, photography exhibitions, participatory art installations and a candlelit opening of the Església del Roser.
Live music adds to the atmosphere, with performances continuing into the evening.
🎉 Saturday, 24 October – Sa Fira, Gastronomy & Correfoc
The main fair begins at 10:00 at Placeta de la Porta Murada, with a parade by the Banda Municipal de Música de Santanyí.
Throughout the day, explore stalls and exhibitions around Plaça Major and the surrounding streets, including classic motorcycles, rally cars, local associations and a traditional bunyolada (freshly made Mallorcan fritters) by Sa Mitja Lluna.
Other daytime highlights include Mallorcan bagpipers, a sheepdog demonstration, an equestrian display and a free organ concert at the Church of Sant Andreu.
At 19:00, head to Placeta de s’Abeurador for the local food showcase, featuring Santanyí restaurants, bakeries and traditional homemade sweets, accompanied by DJ Paco Almodóvar.
Then comes one of the weekend’s most exciting traditions:
- 22:00 – Children’s Correfoc, with Espiadimonis
- 22:30 – Adult Correfoc, with Capocorp and Dimonis de Hiachat
Both fire runs follow the route from the Escola de Música to Placeta de la Porta Murada. Afterwards, a batucada procession leads the celebrations towards a fireworks display, followed by Firafest 2026 at the Centre Jove.
🚗 Sunday, 25 October – Classic Cars & Traditional Dance
The final day offers a more relaxed celebration of local culture.
At 10:00, Plaça Major hosts an exhibition of Renault 5 GT Turbo and Renault 11 Turbo cars.
At 11:00, enjoy a showcase of traditional dances at Placeta de la Canal, featuring groups from Santanyí and visiting performers from Toledo.
