Esporles is about to get very, very sweet. 🍰
One of Mallorca’s loveliest autumn fairs returns for its 20th edition, filling the streets of Esporles with Mallorcan pastries, cakes, chocolate, ice cream and plenty more sweet treats — alongside live music, traditional culture, family activities, workshops and demonstrations.
The main Fira Dolça takes place on Sunday 4 October, but celebrations begin the evening before with Dolça Nit de l’Art, bringing art, wine, music and performances into the village.

From 17:00, Esporles warms up for the fair with an evening dedicated to art and culture.
Highlights include an exhibition celebrating the posters from 20 editions of Fira Dolça, exhibitions around the village, local wine and pastry tastings, and live performances.

There’s also a full programme at Territori Verdesca, including a live radio-comedy about the Serra de Tramuntana, a family-friendly chef show and DJs from 20:00.
🧁 Sunday 4 October · XX Fira Dolça
The main event starts at 09:30, when Esporles becomes one big celebration of all things sweet.
Along Passeig del Rei, expect a showcase of traditional Mallorcan baking including ensaïmades, crespells, coques, ice cream, chocolate, sweets and pastries.
The day begins with the Gegantons and Xeremiers d’Esporles at 09:30, followed by the official opening at 10:00 with local giants, traditional musicians, the Banda Lira Esporlerina and Batukadell.
At 11:30, chef Miquel Serra hosts a live cooking demonstration preparing cremadillos with sobrassada and carob cream, followed by a tasting.
👧 Plenty for Kids & Families
There’s a lot more than cake happening throughout the village.
From 10:00, Carrer Ramon Llull hosts a large mobile play area with games, circus activities, giant construction pieces and activities for different ages. At 11:00, kids can join a family cooking workshop and make their own fruit skewers — no advance registration required.
There’s also a sustainable pedal-powered carousel, traditional fairground attractions and the Trenet Dolç, running through the village from 09:00–18:00.
At 16:30, the school courtyard hosts a big ballada popular with several traditional Mallorcan dance groups.
🌳 Music, Traditions & More
The programme continues throughout Sunday with demonstrations and competitions including chainsaw carving and traditional wood cutting, plus live music from Dino d’Argenti, Marino e Marini, Marga & the Vicious and Panjha Indi.
