Fira de Santa Catalina 2025 – Bunyola’s Big Autumn Celebration 🍁🎉

Autumn arrives… and with it, one of Bunyola’s most beloved traditions: the Fira de Santa Catalina!

From music and culture to children’s activities, local flavours, and community spirit, the whole village comes alive for a long weekend of celebrations. 🌿💛

FRIDAY 21 NOVEMBER

18:30 – Christmas Lights Switch-On
With performances by the Coral Polifònica de Bunyola and Coral Minuet at Sa Plaça.

19:00–02:00 – Santa CataRock 2025
A big night of live music at Sa Plaça with:

  • MADISON
  • DJ Marieta
  • Local DJs

SATURDAY 22 NOVEMBER

09:30 – VI Trobada de Xeremiers
Traditional bagpipers’ gathering organised by Associació Cultural Grallalsac.

11:00 – Children’s Rondalles Workshop
Registration at the library.

11:00 – Street Parades
Traditional music filling the village streets.

12:00 – Xeremiers Performance
Groups and colles playing at Sa Plaça.

12:30 – Folk Workshop & Dance
With Folk Mar at Sa Plaça de Can Gual.

16:00 – Popular Games & Psychomotricity
For children at Can Gual.

20:00 – Tapas Night
Tasting route across the village’s bars.

SUNDAY 23 NOVEMBER – FIRA DAY! 🎪

09:00 – Opening of Santa Catalina Fair Stalls

10:00 – Reception of Authorities at Sa Plaça.

10:00–13:00 – Mushroom Excursion: “Bolets de Sa Comuna”
Limited spots. Registration at the Town Hall.
Starting point: Caseta de Cas Garriguer.

11:00 – Official Fair Opening
Parade with the Bunyola Town Band and the beloved giants Mateu and Bàrbara.

Throughout the morning:

  • 🎠 Carousel at Sa Plaça
  • 🎶 Concerts at the Church
  • 🥁 Batucada Rebombori
  • 🎨 Kids workshops (Sand painting & Christmas lanterns)

Community march through the streets of Bunyola.
(Starts at Can Gual.)

17:00 – Reading of the 25N Manifesto
At Plaça de Can Gual.

18:00 – Popular Folk Dance
With Escola de Ball de Bunyola and Roada at Sa Plaça de Can Gual.

MONDAY 24 NOVEMBER

18:00 – Talk & Photo Projection
A look back at the Festes de Sant Mateu” by Bàrbara Suau Font at Teatre Rafel Ramis.

19:30 – Gifts for Focatera Participants
Offered by the Bunyola Business Association at Sa Plaça.

20:00 – Lighting of the Focateres – Santa Catalina 2025
A magical fire-lit evening to close the festivities.
(Remember to notify the Town Hall if you plan to light one!)
