Every October, Cala Rajada transforms into Mallorca’s gastronomic capital with the Fira de la Llampuga (Dolphinfish Fair) – a lively three-day celebration of seafaring tradition, culinary creativity, and community spirit.
Organised by the Ajuntament de Capdepera with the support of the local Fishermen’s Guild and associations, the fair attracts thousands of visitors eager to taste, discover, and celebrate this emblematic Mediterranean fish.

The 22nd edition of this showcase brings together around twenty local restaurants, hotels, and patisseries offering everything from classic Mallorcan recipes to avant-garde creations – all featuring llampuga.
Beyond food, the fair offers live music, family-friendly activities, and a vibrant street atmosphere, making it one of the most anticipated dates on Mallorca’s gastronomic calendar.
